My pain begins in the groin area, then travels around the hip to the buttocks. Hip and lumbar MRI's, plus exrays have indicated this is not a herniated disc or arthritic hip. Do some patients with piriformis syndrome exhibit pain in thr groin as well as hip and buttocks?
