I could not afford a doctor or a tens unit, BUT!!
I bought one of those hoaky lose weight belts that shock
your fat tummy and turned it
around placing one diod? on my left hip and the other
one my lower back and it really does very well
at killing my sciatic pain for the day. I especially loved the high/fast setting.
Don't expect to loose a fat tummy with it (I know I
tried already)...
but it did break that endless pain/tense loop I often get
stuck in with sciatica....
it was a small miracle...
I have heard the medical assoc. wants the shocker weight
belts sold only as a
medical unit and want to debunk them as a weigh-loss device.
..But you know, I think that's just so they can charge you more
for them under a prescription as tens units.
It DOES work for me.
A shock is a shock is a shock. One hour of the weight belt worn backwards while lying down in a relaxed position on my tummy would give me almost a full days relief from sciatia! Those dust bunnies under the bed are in for a bit of trouble now that I can get to them :)
