My chiropractor has a list on his waiting room wall of the Detroit area's top neurosurgeons, physicians, and other health care specialists that have sent their family members to his office

It's funny how the individual who runs the physical therapy center just has
to knock chiropractic as though they were speaking from fact. The truth of
the matter is that chiropractic can actually get to the root cause of the
discomfort in the first place, that is, a spinal subluxation where the nerve
roots (attached to the spinal cord)exiting the intervertebral foramen may be
compromised due to vertebral misalignment. Until this matter is addressed
and corrected with chiropractic adjustments, the pain, discomfort, and
misery are bound to persist. Chiropractic has survived for over 105+ years,
despite conventional medicine's attempts to discredit, insult, imprison
doctor's of chiropractic, demean, and defame it, due to the million's of
people that have gotten well and absolutely demanded they have their
chiropractors. I would certainly try anything before going under the
knife. MD's notoriously will refrain from sending their patients to
chiropractors, but send their own children instead for issues within the
scope of chiropractic. My chiropractor has a list on his waiting room wall
of the Detroit area's top neurosurgeons, physicians, and other health care
specialists that have sent their family members to his office for
chiropractic adjustments. Enough said!
That said, I was suffering from low back pain and sciatica to the point of
not being able to sit or stand after years of 4-5 nighters. My MD simply
prescribed muscle relaxants and after going back and forth a dozen times,
suggested that I have surgery to fuse L4-L5. To make a long story short, a
chiropractor was recommended to me by a friend who had had a similar
experience and five years later, I am asymptomatic, that is, symptom free,
and I no longer live with the pain and discomfort. I have since come to
find out that many big time drummers out there are into chiropractic, e.g.,
Kenny Aronoff, Matt Sorem, etc... Best of luck to you.
