Hi! I am almost 54 yrs. old, but the first time I knew I had
arthritis in my back was almost 30 yrs. ago. It's progressive but I'm
convinced it's
because of the LD. My hands have been involved for a few yrs. now and in
particular some fingers. When I was at the doctors last month the PA
told me that the fingers that were becoming crippled looking were not
with rheumatoid arthritis but more than likely osteo. That really
surprised me!
The most important thing is to make sure you have someone in your life
who LOVES YOU for the person you are, not the illness you have. That
doesn't just mean a spouse,or boyfriend or girlfriend-----it also means
your family and friends. Never let them give up on you and NEVER give up
on them! If you do, life will be worthless!!!!
