TENS unit - Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator

Posted by Jon Miller

I've been using my new Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator for
about 4 days now. I can't tell if it's helping or not (although that
was frequently the case for Hydrocodone and Oxycodone). Sometimes it
seems to and sometimes it doesn't. It has a ton of settings
("continuous adjustment"), so I will be talking with my doctor tomorrow
to see if I can find something better (well, I'll be looking, so it's
really a question of whether there's a rational approach to finding the
right settings and right placement of the electrodes, or whether it's
just "by guess and by golly").
