Lower back pain, finally seeing a specialist.

Posted by Tracy

Well,

I have been referred to a back clinic to see what is wrong with my lower back.
I will be seeing an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in lower back pain. The
clinic also has physical therapy and pain management. So, I am really hoping I
hear something more than "go home and lose weight and it will all be better".

Even if nothing more can be done, at least they can help me manage the pain so
that I can be more mobile and active and get more exercise and have a fuller
life. But I really feel there is something more wrong that an overburdened
back.

I go in for the initial consultation and X rays next week. Wish me luck,

Tracy
