Rapid Recovery from Back and Neck Pain by Fred Amir (based on Dr. Sarno’s work but takes it a higher level)

Posted by jjohnson2001

Hello everyone,

I’m new but my pain is old. It started when I was a teenager. I have
been seen by doctors, orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors,
neurosurgeons, accupuncturists, etc. etc. etc. They told me I have
stenosis, degeneration, arthritis, fibromyalgia, misaligned spine, etc.
etc. etc. You all know the process. Anyway, I don’t know how many of
you saw the 20/20 report about Dr. Sarno’s program at New York
University.

I thought it’s worth a shot. I bought his book Healing Back Pain. I
followed his advice and actually made some improvements but did not get
all the way there.

Then while browsing at Barnes and Noble I came across another book:
Rapid Recovery from Back and Neck Pain by Fred Amir, who suffered from
chronic pain and disability himself. I liked the book’s straight
forward approach. It gave me a lot of good info that doctors and others
did not tell me. They never told me that back surgery has only a 1
percent success rate, that most people have spinal abnormalities but
never have back or neck pain. In fact most people have a herniated or a
degenrated disc by the time they are 19 or 20 and guess where they have
them? Yes, the L4-L5 or L5-S1 vertebra. Now I knew know where those MRI
results come from. Even more interesting, the cause of 85% of back pain
is not known! So all these diagnoses I was given were guess work.

Fred is based on Dr. Sarno’s diagnoses but takes it a higher level. His
rapid recovery plan gave me clear steps to take to get rid of my pain.
After a few days I was 90% better and continued to improve. It has been
6 months and I am for the most part free of pain. I have given the
links to both books on Barnes and Noble website. I hope this will help
you too.
