Thanks for the thoughts and prayers, same back to you.

I have heard of microdiskectomy, the fellow who I shared a room with had that procedure and seemed to be in a lot less trauma than I. I've emailed him but have not yet heard back to see how his recovery is doing.

The more I look into this, the more options I find and would like to discuss with those in the know, things like traction, corsets, etc. Neursurgeons, mine at least, are not great conversationalists, it's "let's do this, any questions?" where I can't anticipate up front what question's I'll have.

Anyhow, I see the Doc again on Jan 7; let's hope that whatever recovery I have now will continue. Still feels like there's a marble floating around back there sometimes though.
