Hump on lower back since having children

Posted by Debbie Johnson

After the birth of the first child (6 years ago) I noticed a large hump in my lower back. I experienced some pain, but not much. Mostly it just looked strange. Since my last child was born (2 years ago) I had severe back pain throughout my pregnancy and during labor. Afterwards I was on pain medication for months just so I could function. I have stopped the medication and still experience some pain from time to time. I still have this enormous hump. It is exactly where you would be resting during sit-ups.
I have seen a chiropractor several times and although he seemed to think we were making progress them hump remained. My doctor can't understand why I am not in chronic pain due to the condition of my back. I think I have gotten accustomed to the pain over the years that I don't know what it is like to NOT have pain.
I work-out daily and am very fit. I do weight training in hopes to soon compete as a fitness competitor. My only hang up is this huge hump on my lower back is not very sightly. Anyone with any advise or experience the same this please contact me. I need help!
