Post L4-L5 surgery right lower groin pain rt hip to tr abdominal area

I recently (three weeks ago) had an L4-L5 partial disectomy. Now I have pain from my right hip across to lower right abdominal section. It is like an electrical shock--no warning. It comes on only while I am lying down or in a sitting position. Would appreciate any answers to this condition.
