MRI results

Posted by Michael Beatty

I am a 43 yo male who worked for 14 years as a retail store manager. Had a slip and fall and developed severe right sided pain and leg weakness. MRI was done and here are the main findings...

L1-L2, L2-L3, L3-L4 substantial disc degeneration. Loss of disc height and signal. Schmorl's nodes impinge on each endplate. Broad based disc protrusions on each level.

Also had EMG done that showed bilateral nerve damage.

Spinal stenosis is also an issue

Was informed that prognosis was poor with or without surgery. Chiropractic treatments as high as 7x a week. Pain level between 7-9 all the time. Had to resign position and try to get disability.

Any comments, I'm a bit nervous here
