Left leg weakness

Posted by Michael Blaine

In Reply to: I had Lumbar Microdiskectomy surgery... There are no exercises for that. posted by Paul

I have pain in lower left back and a bit of weakness in my left leg. MY family practioner is sending me for an MRI but suggests that surgery is a definite possibility. I don't feel terribly debilitated. for instance I can walk five miles carrying a full set of golf clubs. Why is my doctor freaking out?
