Dec.26,1997, I had surgery for servere spinal stenosis. I believe they worked on l3-l4-l5 vertibrae. The pain let up some for aprox. six months. then, it began to get worse again,this was in the later part of 1998. The disease has pregressed up my back first to the mid area of my back, annd now it is in my upper back and my neck. The pain is constant and mostly severe. Itake Methadone 10 gm, 4 times daily, and roxicet 5gm/325mg. I also use methocarbamol 750mg. But these med's only lower my pain to 7.0 to 8.5 level. I seem to live on a heating pad, almost 22 hours a day to get any relief, switch from my back to my neck. I wish I could converse with Dr. Rosenthal the expert on Spinal stenosis. My name is Fred J. Bartell,my address is 4340 W. Morten Ave., Glendale,AZ 85301. I experience pain all through my back, down my but through my hips, the back and side of my thighs,legs,feet. I also have extreme pain in my mid back shooting outward and have some snapping when i move a certain way or even arch my back backwards. My upper back is a priecing shooting pain upward and outward, mostly on the right side and shoulder. Mneck pain is severe and shoots upwards and out along my right side, and up along the sides on my head and above my ears, and over the top of my head.
Please help me, I am bed ridden almost 24 hours a day. I want help to begin to get better,to be able to
