I had the surgery 2.5 weeks ago. I was up walking within 3 hours after getting out of surgery. Right after I woke-up I felt no more pain in my legs and my feet were no longer numb. I am getting around pretty well considering. I walk around the block a few times a day. But don't get me wrong I still am pain from the surgery. But I will take this over the pain and suffering I was in for almost 10 years before the surgery. I am told that I will not be able to much for a few more weeks. Which means no lifting more than 10lbs, climbing stairs, sitting down for more then 20 minutes at a time. But like I said before it seems to have fixed the problem. Now as long as I do not do anything stupid to ruin the work the doctor did I should be fine.
