Hi! I am 24 years old and I have a ruptured/calsified disk in the S1 area. I also have a few herniated disk. I am debating on having surgery. The doctor says it will get no better and I can take pain pills forever. I really do not want to do that. I am just confused. The surgery will be pretty bad because I have to have 4 screws put in my back. Please give me some advice. Thanks for you help. Kristie
