I have a ruptured L5-S1 disk and am getting ready to have
surgery, I was wondering what the risks are that damage
will be done to nerves or any other risks that the
procedure involves. I have done every conservative treatment
that is available and was trying to avoid surgery but it seems
to have come to that. I also have degenerate tissue in L5-S1
and L3-L4. I was told that this is irrepairable and was wondering
if that is true.
