I had surgery six months ago for a L5-S1 ruptured disk.
I still have some pain in my right leg caused by scar tissue
that has formed around the sciatic nerve post sugery. This
scarring can be reduced by following the doctor's orders for
streches and excersizes to the letter. In my case, unfortunately,
I was restricted from movement during my recovery by the pain
of another disk(L4-5) which ruptured eight weeks after my
opperation. This is another risk to be considered.
