Re: recuperation time after back surgery

I had a partial diskectomy of L4-L5 2 weeks ago to relive painful
sciatic pain that started in my left buttocks and
radiated down my left leg into my ankle.

I still have a bit of pain (painful muscle spasm in
lower back in the vicinity of the surgery)
but it was nothing like it was before at the worst.

Question: can I expect that the rest of the pain
will/may disappear over time? If so, how long might it take?

Question: is it possible that the pain I am exper-
incing is just the result of the trauma (and swelling)
from surgery?

Thanx :)
