I have been in terrible pain, my alternative is surgery, most of my disks are herniated and pressing on the spinal cord, also some compression at the nerve root. A friend of mine had the procedure done at diskcure.com, she could barely walk and she would cry from the pain. It has been 9 months of no pain for her, she feels great. I'm having the procedure done next week, will inform how it goes.
