Re: Piriformis Syndrome

I have been recently diagnosed with piriformis syndrome. It is the most painful thing I have had to deal with and it interferes with all activities. It goes from right buttock down lateral leg into ankle. Most painful is lower later leg. I am in physical therapy, but seems to do little. I am going to continue trying though. The only way I get a good night's sleep is with Tylenol #3 and Soma. Sometimes while lying on my side with legs drawn up with a pillow in between my legs, my lower leg is the only thing hurting. Can anyone explain this?
Thanks, Debby
