severe lower back pain

Posted by martha

I have been diagnosed with severe disc degeneration...L4.....L5 and S1 are bulged. I was scheduled for surgery in Jan. and was at the operating table when they discovered I had a UTI and they rescheduled for the following week. The day before that surgery took place I had a discogram done and my Neurosergion decided that I didn't have enough pain during my discogram so he has decided not to operate and is sending me to pain management and physical therapy. I have received to nerve blocks and I am still in pain. It is affecting my marriage, my job, my career, my life. The pain is so severe when i'm working on my feet that i almost pass out... I am so depressed with this and I am about ready to give up... Please help me. I have been in this condition for about 8 months now.
Thank You,
Martha
