I still have some pain in my left Glute & Leg

I had a laminectomy on l5-s1 & 4-5 two weeks ago, i feel great compared to the pain previously, i was told that the nerves are breathing again and this seemingly "muscular" pain will decrease in a month or so. Any one else know this to be true?

Still hoping to be completely pain free.....
