the drug is called enbrel, it neutralizes the chemical released after disc rupture.
I dont know wether this chemical causes the pain or if this chemical (the bodies chemical) cause's inflammation which casues pain...not sure
the release was a "i understand that this drug is "off label" as in, it isnt proven to help with disc pain, and it might not work etc etc, just like every medical thing
they dont know why anything works or doesnt work...
but this shot helped me alot...
