I am scheduled for an L4-L5 lumbar surgery tomorrow 6/21/02. I have been in excrutiating pain for three months. I had two other back surgeries --one in 1979; one in 1989. Looks like every ten or so years--I have been fighting this one for the past two-three years. You are right, I know I did not take care of myself after the other two surgeries, but I plan to get into an excercise program after this one. I do not ever want to have to go through this again, nor do I want any mor surgeries on my back. Your upbeat comments helped me this morning. I am very nervous about the surgery. Thanks,

Mary Verry
